The recent MEDC Legislative Conference provided attendees a variety of panels and speakers who addressed topics on the future trends in technology as it relates to economic development, the current legislative session and bills related to economic development in Mississippi, and networking opportunities. Participants heard speakers such as economist Ted Abernathy, managing partner of the firm Economic Leadership; Ron Kitchens, chief executive of Southwest Michigan First; Glenn McCullough, executive director, Mississippi Development Authority; and Hugh Meena, Chairman, Cellular South.
